MIPIM 2026: MIBS Group at the Forefront of Global Real Estate
Mar 30 - 2026
A few days after the conclusion of MIPIM 2026, the world’s leading international real estate exhibition held in Cannes, MIBS Group reflects on the highly positive outcomes of this year’s participation.
The event, which traditionally brings together more than 20,000 professionals and exhibitors from 90 countries, once again served as the meeting point for the most influential players in the global property market. MIBS Group actively participated as part of the Greek Pavilion, hosted under the auspices of Enterprise Greece at the heart of the Palais des Festivals, Riviera Hall 7, showcasing Greece’s strategic investment opportunities.
Opening Keynote: Innovation as a Driver of Growth
The exhibition officially opened on Tuesday, March 10, with a keynote address by Philippe Aghion, Professor at Collège de France and INSEAD, and recipient of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Economics.
Globally recognized for his theory of “creative destruction,” Philippe Aghion highlighted how technology and innovation can drive sustainable and resilient urban development. His speech focused on the critical role of both public and private capital in accelerating the green and digital transition, offering valuable insights into how the real estate sector can transform technological change -from Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Net Zero- into a strategic advantage.
Strategic Engagements and Networking
MIBS Group’s presence this year was marked by strong outward engagement, with the team actively participating in key discussions and events shaping the industry agenda.
The Welcome Cocktail, organized by Enterprise Greece, set the tone for meaningful connections between Greek companies and international investors. The networking event was followed by a high-level Exclusive Breakfast Discussion held at the iconic Hotel Martinez. In collaboration with Deloitte Greece and with the participation of leading industry companies, senior executives including representatives of MIBS Group, engaged in insightful discussions on European real estate and hospitality trends, with a particular focus on the Greek market.
One of the most notable panel discussions at the Greek Pavilion was “Greece: Rare Earth Returns,” coordinated by CCRE Group. The session introduced a new perspective, highlighting Greece’s transition from a recovery market to a strategic asset class characterized by scarcity. Spyridoula Boutou, COO of MIBS Group, participated in the panel alongside key stakeholders from investment, hospitality, and real estate development sectors, analyzing long-term value prospects within Greece’s evolving economic landscape.

MIBS Group’s participation in MIPIM 2026 was an invaluable experience, offering deep insights into the innovative solutions shaping the future of urban living.
